Sandra Kaiser

UNESCO Welterbe Expertin - Sandra Kaiser - Heritage Consultancy - Beraterin für Weltkulturerbe

‘I build bridges between eras, disciplines and perspectives.’

I support projects in the field of UNESCO World Heritage and cultural heritage – from the initial idea to implementation. My aim is to understand places, reveal hidden connections and develop strategies that preserve the past and shape the future.

    • Understanding places
Immerse myself deeply in order to truly understand places – their history, atmosphere, landscape and social context, as well as the challenges of our time.

    • Making the invisible visibleI
reveal hidden connections and communicate them authentically and comprehensively. Methods such as attribute mapping, sensitivity or field of vision analyses help me to capture the essence of a place and develop strategies that combine preservation and further development.

    • Building capacity
In training courses, workshops and lectures, I impart knowledge and tools so that people on the ground can act independently – an exchange that has an impact far beyond the project itself.

    • From idea to implementation
My strength lies in thinking ideas through to their conclusion, structuring them and translating them into clear, implementable strategies. In doing so, I combine scientific precision with pragmatic planning.

    • Attitude & motivation
Respect for what already exists, curiosity about new things and dialogue between the past, present and future are what drive me. For me, cultural heritage is not just something to be preserved – it is something to be shaped.
